M's V, the photo is from a 1973 television "Sandy in Disneyland," where the Jackson 5 performed a parody of a song from a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta "HMS Pinafore" (which is itself a parody of the British Navy). The character Michael is playing was named, ironically, Sir Joseph.
And the English text shows why one should never use automated online translations like Babblefish. It cites, among other odd things, Michael's "brilliant military successes." To my knowledge, this sketch was as close as Michael got to a military success!
It seems the original text should be Chinese, but where is it then?
ReplyDeleteLove this cute photo! And wondering if there is any funny story behind it.

Sir Joseph...Jackson?
ReplyDeleteIt's funny.
You're right. Any automated online translation is always a disaster.
